Mac's Steakhouse in Huntington

This was my third visit to Mac's and it has quickly become a favorite. The first time I went for lunch and it was excellent. The second time we went for dinner and the skirt steak and grouper special were delicious. Now we just went and in our party of four, one had skirt steak cooked to perfection, two had petite filet mignon and thought it was excellent and I had the snapper special and it was fantastic. The service here is perfect, friendly and efficient and not overbearing. I'm looking forward to going back again very soon!

Celiac Disease is one of the most common genetic conditions in the world. Celiac is a multi-symptom, multi-system disorder that interferes with the absorbtion of nutrients in food, activated by eating gluten - proteins found in wheat, rye and barley. 1 in approximately 100 people are affected by Celiac disease, yet neary 97% of the people affected remain undiagnosed.

In an effort to create awareness for this very treatable disease we are creating a program that will feature great businesses that offer gluten-free menu items and highlight stores and bakeries that cater to people who are affected with Celiac.
